The course of Veterinary Medicine UNIBAN enables professionals to develop projects and activities focused on crop science, in relation to Animal Production, Food Production, Animal Health and Environmental Protection. Also gives you skills and general abilities as health care, decision making, leadership, administration and management. The professional is trained to act in the sectors of animal health and production, medical and surgical clinics, public health, biotechnology and environmental protection, wildlife and diagnostic imaging, assimilating a changing conceptual and technological developments.
The veterinarian may act not only in veterinary clinics and hospitals but also in public service (federal, state or municipal), private enterprises, manufacturers of animal health products (serums, vaccines, antibiotics, etc..) In food producing companies for animals, slaughterhouses, refrigerator, and built canneries, supermarkets (increased demand) and even in farms, cooperatives and farms. There are also opportunities in biotechnology, environmental conservation and maintenance.
• The course is the 2nd place in ENADE (National Examination Performance of Students) in São Paulo and 8 national ranking of 132 colleges.
