The veterinary graduates from Unigranrio are generalist. They have a professional able to master the fundamentals of veterinary medical science and apply them in protecting public health, quality of life of animals and man, always striving for ethical behavior. The course seeks to form a Veterinarian that values reflection, critical thinking and vision that incorporates humanistic, sociological, economic and environmental factors that can enrich, improve and enhance professional performance.
The course is developed in 9 periods and has a curriculum that, from the earliest periods, encourages the participation of students in practical activities in an integrated and interdisciplinary and, when using different scenarios of teaching and learning for practical classes, research projects and extension and complementary activities, allows students to learn and experience various life situations, organization, practice and teamwork. The School of Veterinary Medicine UNIGRANRIO has an adequate infrastructure, including farm cattle for milk and court, medical and surgical care for pets, cattle and horses, and laboratory support.
