Fields of Expertise
The Veterinarian operates in all disciplines of medicine and surgery of animals. Involved in biodiversity conservation, preservation of health and conservation of wildlife. He also works in animal production (animal husbandry) and the sanitary control of livestock of different species of commercial interest. Performs and manages to artificial insemination and other reproductive animal biotechnologies. Inspects and monitors under the views hygienic, health and technology, all products of animal origin. In public health has several functions among which health surveillance and control of zoonoses (diseases transmitted from animals).
