It should also be committed to a professional society, endowed with critical and able to adjust to the demands generated by scientific and technological, and situational demands evolving, based on an ethical attitude.
The development of abilities and attitudes to be considered in the profile of the veterinarian, should enhance, among other things, the preservation of public health and animal production, animal breeding and nutrition, the health protection, planning, management and education health, inspection technology and products of animal origin and medical and surgical; The professional should also act in the areas of planning, administration, economics and rural extension, be aware of ethics and legislation and have a humanistic background. The owner must have liability to the regional vocations and the preservation of ecosystems, ensuring thus the development of agriculture, while prioritizing the basics of life.
