I have high hopes that through creating and being involved in this Academy, we can make a real difference to the opportunities available to young people in a socially deprived part of our city. Working and studying in such a peaceful environment is something of a privilege, which we have been careful to cherish.
Our University is ready to produce graduates with the skills needed in their various field of their choice. To all my good students, nothing can be achieved in the absence of peace. Without peace, the environment will not be conducive for learning (which is your primarily aim of being here). I, therefore, trust that you will be disciplined and of good behavior, attributes which students of this University are known for. On our own part, we will do every thing within our resources to improve your welfare so that your period of stay in the University will be enjoyable.
Do study our hand books given to you so as to avoid falling foul of the University laws and regulations.
